EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

An executive committee (often referred to as ExCo) acts as a "board within a board," serving as a small, agile, and powerful subcommittee of the main Board of Directors. Its primary purpose is to make rapid, time-sensitive decisions on behalf of the full board in between regularly scheduled meetings.
