Here, a community-centred plantation programme was organised, where saplings were distributed and planted across selected hill slopes. Local residents, supported by forest staff, expanded green cover and rehabilitated disturbed areas. The initiative strengthened community stewardship and ensured continued protection and maintenance of the newly restored sites.
